Once I got it down to florida and took it in the water it stopped working. When I got back to the hotel and opened it up I found that it had leaked in both the control part and the battery part. I then sent it back, the company that I bought it from was very understanding and apologetic. The third one that I got started leaking when I took in the bathtub. My boyfriend then did something with the O rings and greased it up. When I took it in the tub again it didn’t leak so I took it to a spring nearby and it worked just fine. A few months later I took it to the beach and the headset never got wet. A few months after that I tested it to see if it was still working because I planned on going back to florida. It didn’t work, when I opened up the battery part they were corroded and when I tried to take one of the batteries out it broke. My boyfriend once again saved the day and got the broken part out, cleaned it up really good and it worked again.
I do not plan on ever taking it in water again, it is not waterproof and the craftsmanship is very bad. I never really found anything except for some change and a few bullets and some junk, I have never really had the chance to look for much yet but I will still give it a chance on land.
I looked and there still aren’t very many reviews on the Headhunter diver so I am leaving mine so that people don’t waste their money and time. I got 3 different ones and none of them worked right.
If you plan on getting an underwater metal detector, don’t get this one. You will be very disappointed.
